2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
- your name, email address and phone number;
- your course interests, experience, goals and sponsorship information;
- Open Day registration details, including your chosen session and optional town or city;
- correspondence you send to us;
- payment and transaction information supplied by our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card number;
- basic technical information needed to operate and secure the website, such as IP address, browser information and server logs.
3. Why we use it
- Enquiries and registrations: to respond, reserve event places and take steps requested before entering a training contract.
- Training services: to administer enrolment, deliver training and provide learner support under our contract with you.
- Payments and records: to process payments and meet accounting, tax and legal obligations.
- Website security and improvement: for our legitimate interests in operating a secure, effective service.
- Marketing: only where you have opted in or where the law otherwise permits it. You can opt out at any time.
4. Who receives your information
We may use trusted hosting, email, payment and IT providers, and share relevant information with authorised Robosaka staff or trainers who need it to deliver the service. Stripe processes card payments under its own privacy information. We do not sell personal information.
5. International processing
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we require an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism and suitable safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
- Open Day registrations and general training enquiries: normally up to 12 months after the event or last meaningful contact;
- learner and contractual records: for the duration of the service and normally up to six years afterwards where needed for legal, contractual or accounting purposes;
- payment and tax records: normally six years after the relevant financial year;
- server security logs: only for the operational period reasonably required by our hosting provider.
We may keep information longer where required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
7. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information; object to certain processing; receive portable information; and withdraw consent where consent is the basis used. Contact info@robosaka.net to exercise a right.
